Message pistons will help teh engine live longer, at 11psi. This not 7 psi, right?
So do you have high compression pistons in your TT?

I agree that a lot of teh stuff like that has to be experimented first, but having somebody slap two turbos on a stock NA engine with 100-150K miles on it and turn up the boost to 11psi will not enjoy that for long. If it is all done to prove a point about turbocharging an NA engine, you are correct. But having this done to any NA car is not very smart. Most NAs are daily driven, so mile sadd up. And bost is addictive, so I do not think that you will stay out of it at all.
Of cousre Z1 and Ash did a great job, but only time will show if that is the way to go on an NA.
And about the conversion, you might as well lower teh compression a bit, after you put several holes in the pistons.
